I prodotti sono realizzati a mano nel vero senso della parola, non vengono usati altri attrezzi, oltre al pesante mattarello di rame che serve a stendere le lastre d'argilla e a qualche bisturi, utile per realizzare i tagli e i fori. Le diverse fasi di lavorazione portano ogni pezzo tra le mie mani diverse volte; dal pane di terra alle rifiniture, le cose si spostano nel laboratorio seguendo il ritmo della terra che da fango diventa "una lampada". Forse è insolito "in questa era" il mio modo di lavorare, a volte mi sembra che il tempo non esista, la creatività si esprime, di gesto in gesto. Quando ho le mani nella terra mi sento fortunata.

The products are handmade in the truest sense of the word, without using tools, except a heavy copper rolling pin used to even out the blocks of clay and a few knives, useful for making cuts and holes. Each piece runs through my hands several times during the various processing stages, from the dough to the finishing, the items move within the laboratory following the rhythm of the Earth and the clay models into a "lamp". Perhaps my way of working is unusual "in this Era" as I often feel as though time no longer exists, creativity is expressed, from gesture to gesture. When my hands are inside the earth I feel so fortunate.

Uso uno speciale impasto di terra refrattaria che mi soddisfa sia per l'aspetto finale che per le caratteristiche tecniche; conosco molto bene la "mia terra"... dopo 10 anni di rapporto intenso! Cerco l'equilibrio nel magico punto d'incontro tra la materia e il mio gesto. Dopo l'essicazione e le rifiniture si passa alla fase di cottura a 1100°. In 8 ore il forno arriva in temperatura e il giorno dopo si possono estrarre i pezzi. L'acqua,la terra,l'aria,il fuoco....il gioco degli elementi da vita ad oggetti unici, mai uno è uguale all'altro, anche se ripeto i modelli. A questo punto interviene la vetrofusione a completare l'opera; ogni lampada ha il suo vetro, quindi le lastre vengono tagliate su misura e poste nell'apposito forno a fondersi. I risultati attuali sono frutto di un percorso di sperimentazione, quindi i procedimenti seguono ricette e tecniche personali.

A special mixture of refractory clay is used which satisfies me for its final appearance and for its technical characteristics. I have come to know "my clay" very well after an intense 10 year relationship together! A balance is looked for inside the magical meeting point between matter and gesture. After drying and finishing, it is time for the baking phase at 1100 °. Within 8 hours the oven reaches the right temperature and the following day the pieces can be pulled out. Water, Earth, Air, Fire ... the match of the elements from their birth to unique items, one object is never the same as the other, even when the patterns are repeated. At this point the fused glass comes in to play to complete the work, each lamp has its own glass, and then the slabs are cut to size and put into oven to melt. The current results are the result of an experimental path; therefore my procedures follow personal recipes and personal techniques.
